Kirk Forde L.Ac.,Dipl.O.M.,MS.
His graduate degrees include
a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College in Santa Monica, California
and a Masters in Chemical Physics from University of California, Irvine.
He is fortunate to be a student of Dr. Mikio Sankey whose revolutionary work, Esoteric Acupuncture, has deeply expanded the healing capabilities of the medicine.
The name BodhiQi (bode-ee-chee) is a playful reference to the legendary BodhiTree under which the Buddha sat as he became enlightened. It is a combination of two words, bodhi and qi
The great Himalayan master, Swami Rama defines bodhi as the finest level of consciousness.[1]

"Bodhi is an abstract noun formed from the verbal root budh (to awake, become aware, notice, know or understand) corresponding to the verbs bujjhati (Pāli) and bodhati or budhyate (Sanskrit). Also from the same root are the Sanskrit words bodha (also meaning knowledge or intelligence) and buddhi which is the exact equivalent to the Greek word nous."[2]
Qi (chee) is the vital energy that circulates throughout the body. Acupuncture is used to bring the body's qi into balance and raise one's level of health and sense of well being. Esoteric Acupuncture holds the potential to align one's qi to a higher level of consciousness.
